For those of us who were born and grew up in days when freedom of speech and debate on topics were considered a fundamental right, and a proud part of British democracy, who are these days are saddened and dismayed as these once inalienable freedoms are being dismantled, one by one. We live in despair and frustration watching the actions of those doing such damage to our freedom.
Our freedom to oppose the madness of modern society is being eroded, if you question the right of men, dressed as women using female spaces, as in the case of J.K. Rowling, you can soon find you are vilified for speaking common sense.
It now seems the climate fanatics are also coming for those of us who feel the need to speak out against the impossibility of net zero and the fact that over our long lives the weather patterns, we have experienced over our many years, are just as variable as when we were kids having fun in both snow in the winter or long hot sunny summers days when we would run in the house and ask for sixpence to buy an ice cream when we heard the chimes of the ice cream man coming our way.
Sadly, climate fanatics are turning into what can only be described as intolerable fascists and dictators as they do everything to deny debate about the insanity of destroying our energy security. The BBC, which has sold its soul to net zero, as well as other broadcasters, will not allow anyone to speak out in opposition to their never ending mantra of 'global warming', debate on this topic is banned and only the followers of the warmist religion are allowed air time.
Now, the rather unpleasant and bumptious multi millionaire character, who has made his fortune from selling so-called green energy, Dale Vince, is making demands that those of us who question the sanity of scrapping gas, oil and coal energy, and the suspect science and very dodgy computer models behind alleged climate change, should be prosecuted for having the temerity to challenge his, and others, wild claims that the world is heating up and if we dare to say climate change is nothing but fiction. Like dictators of the past, and present, only the views and opinions which Mr. Dale considers acceptable should be the only ones spoken, as far as he is concerned those of us who oppose his self important views should be prosecuted for having the audacity of thinking we live in a land of freedom of speech and the right to challenge his obsessive and energy destroying mantras.
It is sad say that my once, freedom loving tolerant country, thanks to the likes of Dale Vince, is being turned into a climate fanatics dictatorship where being critical of the energy wrecking actions our eco looney no Energy Minister, Ed Milliband, makes you a climate criminal. No doubt or hopeless Prisons Minister will have to accelerate her plans to release hoards of dangerous criminals from our overcrowded prisons to make room for those of us who, from our life's experiences, know there is no fear of climate change other than, as always, variable weather patterns.
