Our conference, which takes place on Saturday, 1st March 2025, will host leading political figures from Britain and important speakers from the United States of America. A trade deal with the USA is preferable to that which we have with the EU and this conference aims to help move forward the goal of such an opportune deal; and make the idea of deepening our ties with Brussels anathema.

The benefits of a trade agreement with the US will not only protect British trade and investment interests in America from any tariffs that our competitors on the continent of Europe may face, but it will also enhance our economic interests and show that we can depart from the European high tax, cheap foreign labour, economic model that is becoming increasingly discredited world-wide.

This international conference will encourage the shift away from the European Union which is required to complete and fulfil the promise of Brexit. This event coupled with important international developments, will have a profound impact on British politics and reverse the drift towards the EU that the Starmer administration would otherwise have been minded to pursue. Indeed, the potential of a trade deal with the United States offers an attractive alternative which the Bruges Group is eager to advocate. Furthermore, this conference should be of interest to those in America. Together, we will set the agenda for Britain`s future trading relationships and establish the clear blue water from Europe that we need to open new and exciting opportunities, free our economy, and close the open borders fiasco.

The Bruges Group reserves the right to refuse entry.
Attendees may be filmed.
