Black clad masked thugs have disrupted peaceful protests against the housing of undocumented illegal young men in hotels.
In the twisted world of Marxism, Trotskyists are convinced that Socialism has not failed everywhere it has been tried. The problem, according to the newspaper Socialist Worker is that: "The problems in society come from a system, capitalism, that prioritises profit above all else". And their solution? "We think the solution is a revolution, where the majority of people take control of society and run it from the bottom up without the billionaires, bosses and landlords". To achieve their aims they explain that: "We organise on a day-to-day basis by taking part in movements, protests and strikes—and arguing for a revolutionary socialist transformation of society".
Their solution does not involve reasoned debate or the ballot box. It involves intimidation and twisting truth. Having a Police escort to and from the Epping demonstration allowed them to chant their slogans. It allows them to label normal concerned members of society 'Racists' 'Far Right' 'Fascists' and 'Nazis'. As they explain in their newspaper of Tuesday 29 July 2025: "Events like this (Epping) matter. They show that anti-racists are the majority. They can leave the far right feeling miserable and help to break away the "softer" racists who join the far right protests from a harder Nazi core. Epping has become a focal point for the British far right. Fascist thugs have gone on the rampage against refugees at the Bell Hotel in the Essex town three times—and they want to do it again on Sunday". The thugs do not live in Epping. They have no concern for the people or their children. The ones they label Far right Nazi racists. They have no interest or concern for the illegal immigrants beyond their value as a propaganda weapon.
Every possibility of disrupting society and the thugs of SWP and ANTIFA will be there. Waiving their printed placards, chanting their hate from behind their masks. They are well organised and funded, but by whom is a mystery. Their newspaper is printed by Larkham Printers & Publishers Limited. Its latest micro accounts show Capital and Reserves of £1,493. The accounts are signed by Hector Puente Sierra who is a director and member of the SWP committee. If Larkham are printing all the placards, leaflets and newspapers on their tiny funds they have discovered a business model that could save the world.
Of course, they and true Socialists don't want to save the world. They want to destroy it and replace it with the Workers Paradise. The enslaved of North Korea could tell them all about Paradise, but they are not interested. Karl Marx, probably one of the world's greatest scroungers and hypocrites invented a path to power for the idle upper middle classes like himself. Supported by his aristocratic wife. By his sister who had married into the Phillips electric family of Holland. By inheritance from his wealthy Lawyer and Vineyard owning father and by his factory owning colleague Engels. With all this Karl could dream of taking control of the world by inciting those less fortunate than himself to rage and vengeful spite.
In England, from the Peasants Revolt through to the Cooperative movement 'working' people had sought to improve their lot by creating opportunity. The peasants wanted to till their own land and be loyal citizens. Richard II a prototype Marxist preferred they remain enslaved. Friendly Societies, CoOps all had at their core, a belief in self reliance, cooperation and betterment. For the Upper Middle Class founders of the Fabian Society that was no good at all. They would never be able to impose their perverse dictatorship by democracy. They could, however, do so by harnessing the envy and spite that Marx unleashed.
It should come as no surprise that Keir Starmer was a member of the Fabian Societies committee. In common with all Labour Prime ministers he is a Fabian and committed to their aims. And their aims are the same as the Socialist Workers Party, but without the honesty and overt threats. Their way is the erosion of democracy by pretending to support it. Lock people up for criticising too much immigration because they are 'far right', and in a democracy that's not acceptable. Especially not in a democracy being hollowed out by a far left government.
Democracy as we know it was invented here. It has huge strengths, but one dreadful weakness. That weakness is the belief that everyone plays by the same rules. The belief that democratic Socialism is real. It is not. Socialism is a religion. You either believe or you are anathema and excommunicated. Unless society wakes up to that simple fact then it may wake up in the Workers Paradise envisioned by the SWP and Fabians. We have four years, somehow, to survive a daily onslaught on normality. Daily assaults on free speech. Being told that 'wrongthink' makes us hard right that uttering hurrty words makes us dangerous fascists. Of course, these are just the tactics used by the Communists in Russia and the NAZIs in Germany. For too long we have wrapped ourselves in our democratic comfort blanket and believed it could not happen here. Only Margaret Thatcher saw the reality and tried to reverse it. She was deposed because using grievance to perpetuate power is attractive to non Socialists too. From this contempt for truth and democracy has arisen the UniParty.
We are in the last chance saloon. Until now, there has not been a sensible way for true democrats to restore their rights. Four years is a long time and there's many a slip twixt cup and lip, but we must keep the faith, we have to believe that we can be part of a democratic revolution. A revolution that restores the values of free speech, honesty and decency that democracy and our freedom depends upon.
