Charles is a proud northern, working-class conservative and is a final year student at King's College London. At King's, he studies European Politics and so has developed an in-depth understanding of the workings of the European Union. He is particularly interested in the EU's Enlargement Policy and the Common Defence and Security Policy. However, his study of the EU has also reaffirmed his decision to vote to leave the EU in 2016, and so he robustly makes the case for Brexit in all his seminars!
Outside of University, Charles has, in less than two years of residing in London, worked for two prominent Members of Parliament; Damian Collins MP, for nearly 18 months, and Daniel Kawczynski MP for a shorter period. Beyond this, he was also recently an active member of Esther McVey's leadership team for the 2019 Conservative Party leadership contest.
On a personal level Charles enjoys maintaining his physical fitness immensely, and so has a great interest in the gym and in general nutrition.
