Yet another COP event and yet more insanity and hypocrisy, not least from our Prime Minister who, by promising his eco pals at the COP 29 event which, after most of the delegates flying in from all over the globe in their private jets, with tables groaning under the weight of expensive food and drinks, as well as all the hot air, these events are anything but environmentally friendly.
Puffed up and proud of himself, looking for praise and congratulations from all gathered at this slap-up lavish shindig, Keir Starmer made the insane declaration that the UK would cut its emissions by 81% by 2035. By pure coincidence, the day after he made this impossible claim The Indonesian volcano, Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki, erupted spewing out a mass of pollutants into the high atmosphere. The irony of this is the fact, despite pumping out more pollutants than the City of London and many other cities in a day, it will in reality have a cooling effect on much of the world as the ash blocks out the suns rays.
The effect of what Starmer and his eco loony Environment Minister, Ed Milliband will have on the people of the UK will be enormous. Ten years may sound a long time but to make such a drastic cut to the tiny amount of emissions made by the UK, none the less, it is a massive change to make in such a short time and is completely unrealistic. It is insanity itself to make such an unnecessary claim and to actually carry it out. The British people are now under immense threat from their own Government, as reported in the Daily Mail the misery this will inflict on the population through such a drastic change in our lives will be enormous.
In order to achieve this ridiculous target of an 81% cut in emissions in the next ten years we will all face drastic changes to our lives, none of which anyone actually voted for, and the only way our lunatic Labour Government will be able to bring this about will be by creating what many will see as a police state. People will be forced to make drastic cuts to the amount of meat and dairy products they eat, the Government will have to ban the use of petrol and diesel cars and force people to drive impractical electric cars, gas boilers will be banned and we will all shiver in the cold as our highly expensive (for those who can afford them) heat exchangers fail to keep us warm in the middle of winter. Freedom of movement will be curtailed and we can all forget about flying off for a week or two of sunshine away from, ironically, the UK's cold climate to some warm foreign climes.
As meat and dairy products will be heavily rationed I can foresee a black market in meat, butter and cheese coming about, the rum runners in the USA during prohibition will have nothing on the black marketeers of the future in Britain as Labour's food Stasi clamps down.
Sadly, the green mob have taken over and it will not be long before the people begin to feel the pain, what in effect will be all for nothing as a cut of 81% of Britain's current 1% of global emissions will be even less than a pin prick in regard to the impossible task of net zero. The madness of this becomes even more obvious as the UK will be forced to import more of its energy, products and foods from countries such as China which will make no efforts to cut its pollution, it will continue to use coal gas and oil for much of its energy needs, as will India and many others. At the same time we will have closed off access the coal reserves under our feet which would last for centuries and and massive reserves of gas and oil in the North sea.
During the first week of November 2024 the sun did not shine and the wind did not blow, with the Government planning to increase the use of electricity while at the same time making its generation far less reliable with transferring land from food production to growing numbers of unreliable solar panels and wind turbines, all of which produced little energy at the start of the November, the UK will in the near future begin to suffer blackouts aa well as increasing its use of foreign energy at great cost to the nation.
When I wrote the article, 'Flee Now', it was a warning all need to heed as life in the UK, under this increasingly insane and out of control Labour Government wreak havoc on what is left of what was once a truly great nation but has now gone completely insane.
