Rolf was educated at Monmouth School for Boys and Jesus College Oxford. He took up English teaching just at the time that the Gramscians tore through it. He served as a financial adviser from 1989 to 2012 (for the last 20 years an IFA), plus he also taught special needs children of all ages and ethnicities which was much more fun than promoting woke poetry. Financially bearish since 1999, unsurprised by the stockmarket halving in 2003 and again in 2009 but foolishly clung on in the hope that our political class would finally discipline the bankers. Voted Leave without hope, amazed to find there were millions of others who like him were not "fruitcakes", "loonies" and "closet racists"; still waiting for implementation.
